How to Get Rid Of Dark Circles Under The Eyes

Dark circles under the eyes is a skin issue that worries both men and women. It gives us a specially tired look, even if we slept well the night before. And while stress and genetics have a lot to do with it, there are a list of things that make them worse.

For example, not drinking enough water and being exposed to the sun dehydrates the skin, triggering the apparition of dark circles. Drinking plenty of water and sleeping at least eight hours a day is a great step to prevent them.

But what can we do if we already have them and want to get rid of them? Read below:

Use ice to your favor

Coldness dilates blood vessels, which can help to oxygenate the skin and lighten dark circles. You can use ice globes or cryo balls, tools that you can keep in the freezer and massage your skin with every morning.

Look out for peptides and Vitamin C

Sure, there is no magic potion or creme to solve dark circles, but you can harness the power of a few compounds to lighten and soften the skin under the eyes. Look for ingredients like caffeine, hyaluronic acid, and tri-peptides.

Vitamin C is also great for boosting collagen production -a protective barrier between the vein and skin- and hyaluronic acid plumps the skin to decrease transparency. The Alpha Vitamin C and the Oracle Eye Cream are the perfect combination of green chemistry to help you fight dark circles.

Wear sunscreen and sunglasses

This might be a basic step for some! But it is always important to remember how UV exposure can develop dark spots and skin areas with hyperpigmentation. Apply in the mornings and retouch every few hours, for complete protection wear sunglasses.
